Quality control in radio rental is the process that ensures the client receives a fully operational fleet — not a collection of hardware that may or may not work when turned on. SEI’s QC process includes: individual radio function testing (transmit and receive verification on programmed channels), battery capacity testing and replacement of any unit below acceptable threshold, accessory inspection, programming verification to confirm all channels and talk groups are correctly loaded, and a pre-delivery fleet count. This process is what separates a rental that works flawlessly on day one from one that discovers failures after the client has taken delivery.
